Jetzt habe ich nun wirklich sehr lange nichts mehr hier auf meinem Blog gezeigt. Das lag zum einen daran, dass ich gar nicht mehr zum schreiben gekommen bin, aber andererseits hatte ich auch in letzter Zeit nicht wirklich viele verschiedene Sachen genäht. Vielmehr habe ich die meiste Zeit an zwei Projekten gearbeitet; die Bolerojacke, deren Probeteil ich euch im März schon einmal gezeigt hatte, und ein Ballkleid für meine Schwester.
Das Jäckchen ist mittlerweile leider zum UFO, zum unfertigen Objekt, geworden. Egal was ich verändert habe, mit den Ärmeln war ich nie wirklich zufrieden, weshalb das Nähprojekt erstmal auf Eis liegt.
Neben dem Nähen habe ich vor kurzem Stricken als ein weiteres Hobby für mich entdeckt.
Daher werde ich euch demnächst sowohl Fotos vom Ballkleid, als auch von den Stulpen und Schals, die ich gestrickt habe, zeigen.
Außerdem steht bereits das nächste größere Nähprojekt an: das Kleid für meinen Abiball. Da dieses Projekt etwas aufwendiger wird, werde ich versuchen, es Schritt für Schritt hier zu dokumentieren.
Ich freue mich schon darauf, euch den Stoff und das Schnittmuster zu zeigen. :)
Quite a long time has passed since I shared something here on my
blog. That is partly because I did not find much time for blogging and partly because I did not sew that many different
things. Most of the time, I worked on two projects; the shrug, from
which I already showed you the muslin in march, and a ballgown for my
sister.
Unfortunatly, I had problems with sewing the sleeves on to the shrug, which is why I paused this project for the moment.
I also recently started knitting, which is why I will soon show you photos of the ballgown as well as photos of my knitted handwarmers and scarfes.
My next big sewing project will be a ballgown for me. This project will be rather difficult and time-consuming, so I will try to document each step here.
I'm already looking forward to showing you the fabric and pattern for it. :)
